Isle of Wight: Day with the Family

Hello everyone,

Sorry for not posting in so long, I just haven't really had much to post about lately! Anyway, today I went to one of my favourite places in the world - the Isle of Wight. I visit my family there many times a year and every time I go, I never want to leave. I find it so relaxing and everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming! Today me and my parents travelled bright and early, so that we could make the most of the day down there. When we arrived, it was really windy and cold but as the day went on, it got much brighter and by the end of the afternoon it was really warm! I took some pictures (when I say some, I mean a lot...) so I thought I would share them with you!

Right at the bottom of this lane is the sea, I don't know if you can see it!

Picturesque cottages, I couldn't resist!

When we arrived in Yarmouth (the village where my family lives), we went for lunch in a Yacht Club but I didn't get a chance to get a picture of my food, as it was all very posh and it was too awkward to just get my camera out haha! Then we did a little bit of shopping and looked round the lovely village.

I was so tempted to buy this candle but it was a little pricey. It smelt AMAZING though!

These little shops are so me and I love them to bits!

Later on, a few of us went down to the beach and I was chilling with the kids haha...The shadow makes my legs look massive LOL (did I just say lol?) The sea is absolutely beautiful when the sun is shining and we just had a really cute time at the beach!
Of course we had to stop off for an ice cream at Isle of Wight's famous Minghella's!

I chose my all time favourite, mint choc chip! Hmmm

Can we just apreciate the view my Granddad gets from his house! It's beautiful, I'm so jealous!!

My Pop (what I call my Grandpa) gave me this for easter haha how cute his he!?

I will leave you with a gorgeous picture of the Solent sea that I took on the ferry home! Sorry for the overload of pictures but I really wanted to show you guys what I got up to and I guess it kind of makes up for not posting in ages!

Comment below where your favourite place is to go and what you guys enjoy doing with your family!

Quick Kiko Mascara Review

Hello,

So yesterday I made a new discovery and this shop is now my new favourite place to buy makeup!

Kiko = HEAVEN
I found a gorgeous mascara for only £3.90 in the sale which was such a good reduction because it is a fairly expensive shop. The mascara I bought is the Luxurious Lashes! WOW. Probably the best mascara I have ever tried!

I absolutely love the packaging first of all, and people say never judge a book by it's cover, I guess it's kind of the same for mascaras but I do... The bottle always catches my eye before I have even read the description. Secondly, the brush is so perfect. I prefer these brushes compared to the big ones(apologies, I am awful at describing things haha!). This mascara is so easy to apply to my lashes and it gives me the perfect look. I am one who does not like clumpy lashes and this certainly does not and it also feels very lightweight which is a bonus! This adds great length and also volume and overall is just such a great mascara!

Sorry this was such a quick review but I thought I would briefly tell you how much I adore this mascara!!

London Adventures!

Hello everyone!

Today I went up to London with my mum, we had a lovely day in Carnaby Street and Oxford Street just looking round and getting some food. I didn't actually buy anything but did a little nosey in some shops!

In Pret a Manger I bought a humus and salad wrap which was delicious and really healthy! With that I had my favourite Pret drink, apple juice!

I really love Carnaby Street, there are some really unique shops and the whole atmosphere is really nice there. I popped into Benefit, Cowshed and found a Choccywoccydoodah, but we didn't go in!

I even found a Brandy Melville just off Carnaby street, which is like my favourite shop and I thought they only had one in Chelsea!
Apologies for the rubbish photo of Brandy Melville!

Lastly we stopped off at Ben's Cookies and Oh. My. God. They are sooo nice and super cheap! I had the dark chocolate one and it was straight out of the oven and the chocolate was still melting!

They aren't the most attractive cookies but they were the best I have ever eaten!

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed seeing some photos of my trip to London!
Please comment what your favourite area of London is as well as your favourite places to eat there!

March Favourites

Hello again,

Where has March gone?! It seriously felt like it lasted 2 minutes! But I have had quite a few favourites for the month of March so lets just get started! I will firstly get the beauty products out of the way...

Lasting Perfection concealer
I have really been loving the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer! I won't ramble too much about this but it is probably the best concealer out there! It has super good coverage for spots and blemishes and really brightens under the eyes.

Pixie Pink sleek blush

Next I have enjoyed using this Sleek blush in the colour 'Pixie Pink'. I absolutely adore Sleek products because they are super affordable and amazing quality! This colour looks great in the spring because it is a gorgeous bright pink. It is very easy to wear on a daily basis or you can pair it with a smokey eye in the evening- either way, a lovely product!

L'Oreal True Match Foundation

This has been my go-to foundation in the month of March! I don't wear foundation very often but when I do this is one I use! It blends beautifully into my skin and the finish is fairly matte which is excellent because I have quite oily skin and this doesn't wear off during the day.

Mint Green Barry M

This has got to be my favourite nail polish of March and probably for the rest of spring! I got given this from friend for christmas and have been waiting so long to be able to wear it! Barry M never fail to impress.

Coconut shower gel

As for shower gel, this has been my absolute favourite! As you can see I have already used half of it because I am literally addicted to the smell. Coconut has been one of my favourite scents recently and Original Source products are always amazing!

Not available any more-sorry!!

Also on the topic of skin care, can we just take a moment to appreciate how amazing this stuff is. Raspberry. The Body Shop. Two of my favourite things combined. BOOM. Happy Lily! This stuff is so hard to get your hands on because it is always limited edition, but I luckily bought this a few months ago and only rediscovered it in my room a few weeks ago. Body Shop body butters are my all time favourite moisturisers so need I say more...

Honey Blossom Yankee Candle

Moving onto non-beauty favourites now, this has got to be my favourite candle. This is my second of the sampler sizes because it is such an amazing smell!! Firstly I just love the name: Honey Blossom, it sounds so spring like! Every time I burn this it just makes my whole room smell like spring! Yankee candle... you did good!

And lastly, a very random favourite; NOTEBOOKS AND STICKYNOTES!
I have been feeling very organised this month and I love have pretty notebooks and paper to write on. It may sound silly but having cute stuff motivates me to be organised! This gorgeous notebook is actually from Tesco and the sticky notes are just from the original brand 'Post-it'.

Sorry for such a long post but I have just had a lot of favourites to share with you this month!

New Nivea Products

Bonjour,

So recently I was at Waterloo station and there is a fairly hard to resist Boots there. So me and my two best friends popped in and picked up a few things! My two favourite buys were two Nivea products. I picked up the regenerating night cream and the soothing cleansing mousse, both of which were on offer and were a very reasonable price.

This moisturiser has a fairly thick consistency and therefore I recommend to only use at night, like the name suggests. Even though it is thick, I don't find it too greasy or creamy because I am very fussy when it comes to moisturisers. I hate having to wait for a really greasy cream to sink in, but this night cream sinks in very quickly and in the morning you wake up with super soft skin!

As you can see, this is the consistency of the cream.

I also purchased this cleansing mousse which firstly sounds very exciting to me because I love the texture of mousses! I always go for a liquid cleanser just because I find them very easy to apply and there is usually no need to wash them off, but I just found the name very intriguing so I thought I would give it a go. Basically, you just pump a bit on your hands, rub it on your face and lather it so it is a mousse consistency and then wash it off with water. BOOM. Immediate clean soft skin. It removes all grease, dirt and excess makeup from your skin and it leaves your face feeling soothed and soft. It is also designed for people with dry and sensitive skin. I don't have particularly dry skin but I certainly do have sensitive skin, I always seem to get reactions to new products but this mousse is super sensitive so I am all good!

My New Favourite Hair Product

Hello everyone,

Recently when I was in Superdrug browsing, this gorgeous Fudge Urban hair product caught my eye - mainly the name I think is what made me pick it up, 'Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Styling Mousse'! I literally want to eat it every time I put it in my hair (it probably wouldn't taste that nice though). Anyway I was very intrigued because it was on offer from £5.99 to £2.99 which I thought was very good!

Before I bought this styling mousse, I just used to wash my hair, spray some heat protect spray on, blow-dry my hair and I was good to go. But my hair was always really flat and shapeless, so it really needed some care! I apply this amazing stuff into my roots and around the top of my hair and it gives it SUCH a boost! Also, every time I smell my hair, it smells like raspberries and vanilla, which are my two favourite scents.

It says that it has anti fizz properties and that it smooths flyaways and seals loose ends, and it certainly does the job!

Thank you for reading,

Village Visit

Hello again,

Today I visited a gorgeous little town in the South of England with my family and for my first blog post, I thought I would share a few photos I took because the area is so pretty. We went on a walk and saw loads of cute cottages and then found a bakers so we had some coffee there. I had a warm cookie with melting white chocolate chips (best cookie ever!). The people in there were so friendly. We bought some warm bread to take home for lunch and it was delicious!

The warm bread straight out of the oven
